Youssef A. Sauma, 99, of Raritan Township, NJ, died November 3, 2012, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

He was born in Lebanon, the son of the late Abdo and Adele Sauma, and came to the United States in 1992. Before his retirement, he was a self-employed trader.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nada Sauma; six sons, Suhayl Sauma and wife, Regina, of Warren, NJ, Bassam Sauma and wife, Bonnie, of Warren, NJ, Sami Sauma and wife, Lale, of Flemington, NJ, Abdo Sauma and wife, Gladys, of Flemington, NJ, Samir Sauma and wife, Michele, of Gatherburg, MD, and Joe Sauma and wife, Barbara, of Basking Ridge, NJ; 16 grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, Ryan, Kathryn, Kevin, Sami, Jr., Hadi, Christina, Stephanie, Nicole, Joseph, Sophia, Chloe, Skyler, Oliver, and Isabella; and a sister, Bahia Haddad of Lebanon.

The funeral will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, 38 Hwy. 31, Flemington, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Piscataway, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ.
