James Joseph Simon of Bridgeville, Delaware (formerly of Flemington, NJ) passed away December 2, 2012. Jim was born in Somerville, NJ on March 19, 1943, served in the U.S. Air Force, and later retired from Dow Jones in Princeton NJ. James belonged to the Southern Delaware Street Rod Association. He enjoyed camping, golfing, and riding his Harley Davidson.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Edwina, his mother Mary Ellen Simon of Flemington NJ, sister Marillen Schultz, and his five children: Dawn Privett; Scott Simon; Heather Seguin; Kevin Simon; and Christopher Simon. He had four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, 38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Mausoleum, Flemington. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 7 from 6-9 PM and Saturday morning from 9 AM until time of services in the funeral home.
